Ms. Himashree Deka is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. She obtained her M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, India, following her B.Tech in the same discipline from the Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Assam, India.

Her current research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence for mental health diagnostics, with particular emphasis on speech processing and other non-invasive methods for early detection. Her broader interests include the development of reliable, ethical, and accessible digital health solutions. She is also committed to collaborative research, interdisciplinary engagement, and knowledge exchange with both academic and industry partners. In addition to her academic journey, she holds the NCC “C” certificate.
