Dr. Indrani Devi Sarma is a clinical pharmacologist and health-tech innovator developing AI-enabled solutions that bridge human behaviour, assistive technology, and real-world healthcare needs. As founder of Vritiksha Tech, a medtech venture currently incubated at IIT Guwahati, she leads the creation of sensor-integrated sign-to-speech systems for speech impaired, secure mobile assessment platforms, and data-driven tools that enhance accessibility and workflow efficiency in clinical and educational settings. Her research interests lie in translating biomedical insight into scalable digital products through applied machine learning, real-time data capture, and human-centred design. At AIIMS Guwahati, she is involved in teaching, clinical services and research focusing on building deployable, socially impactful solutions. She has several filed patents and scientific publications.
