Ms. Moni Kumari is a dedicated life science researcher with expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology. She works as a Technical Assistant (Life Sciences) at ICMR–RMRC Gorakhpur, supporting virology and microbiology projects, performing molecular diagnostics for diverse pathogens, and contributing to outbreak investigations. She has also co-authored several scientific publications and is pursuing her Ph.D. through AcSIR.

Previously, she served as a JRF at ICMR–RMRIMS Patna in a SERB–DST project on transcriptomic profiling for biomarker discovery in VL and PKDL, strengthening her translational research skills. She holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Biotechnology (1st Rank, SPU Gujarat) and a B.Sc. in Industrial Microbiology (Gold Medallist, Patna University), and has qualified DBT-JRF (BET), GATE, IIT-JAM, JNU-CEEB, and TIFR. Skilled in PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, and culture techniques, she aims to advance affordable diagnostics for infectious diseases in India.
