Dr. Prajakta Bedekar is an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani’s Hyderabad Campus in the Department of Mathematics. She previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Johns Hopkins University, with a joint appointment as an International Associate at Applied and Computational Mathematics Division at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Dr. Bedekar reformulates biological and biomedical questions in mathematical language and constructs mathematical models to tackle them in close collaboration with experimentalists.
