Project Research Scientist I
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India

Pratibha is a clinician-scientist with a focused interest in hepatology and translational research. Her academic and research training has centered on applying multi-omics approaches including transcriptomics, proteomics, and immune profiling to understand the mechanisms driving acute decompensation and ACLF. She works extensively with longitudinal datasets, integrating systems biology, biomarker discovery, and advanced statistical modeling to identify dynamic predictors of mortality and immune dysfunction. Her professional interests include neutrophil biology, immune tolerance versus resistance states, and developing clinically meaningful biomarkers and risk-stratification tools. She is committed to advancing precision medicine in severe liver disease by building robust analytical pipelines, performing cross-platform validation, and translating complex biological insights into actionable clinical applications.
