Dr. Roomani Srivastava is a dentist and public health researcher whose career spans clinical practice, academia, and health-systems research. She holds an MDS in Public Health Dentistry and is currently pursuing PhD in Digital Health at IIT Bombay; her work sits at the intersection of AI and public health. She is also a Research Fellow on a DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance project, where she leads data-driven initiatives to strengthen health and nutrition programmes in partnership with national and international stakeholders. She has co-authored a forthcoming book on informatics and AI in healthcare and several peer-reviewed publications. Her research explores how AI can augment clinical and public health decision-making, enable new models of service delivery, and support data-driven innovation in health systems. Professionally, she is committed to translating data and evidence into scalable digital solutions and policy frameworks for more inclusive public health programmes in India.
