Vandana Yadav is a biomedical researcher with a PhD in Biochemistry from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Her doctoral work investigated the role of cysteine proteases in cancer progression and drug resistance, strengthening her foundation in molecular oncology. Building on this expertise, her current research focuses on CRISPR/Cas9-based gene-editing strategies for hematological malignancies, with an emphasis on developing functional gene frameworks and advancing bench-to-bedside translation. Vandana is passionate about strengthening India’s capacity in next-generation gene-editing technologies through structured training, ethical skill-building, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She aspires to become an independent researcher and academic leader driving innovation in translational oncology and precision medicine.
